Consolidation of every one hundred (100) existing ordinary shares into one (1) ordinary share

(1) In summary, Shares of the Company will be traded as follows:

Up to 28 November 2008 : Shares before the Consolidation (iOCBC stock code: 5AH, 5MX)

From 1 December 2008 : Shares after the Consolidation (iOCBC stock code: 5NV, 5NW)

For illustration purpose:

If you have 1000 Shares on or before 28 November 2008, your new holding will be 10 shares from 1 December 2008 onwards

Note :

(a) This counter has been placed under restriction to trade online by our Company, kindly contact your Trading Representative to submit your order. Do ensure that you have checked your new holdings. Any oversold positions by client will be constituted as "Short Selling" and will be subjected to buying-in by SGX.

(b) Due to changes in the iOCBC stock code, your new holding will not be reflected in iOCBC's Portfolio. Please refer to the User Guide for adjustment of your portfolio.

(2) Temporary trading counter for trading in board lots of 10 consolidated Shares
