Deborah Fuhr is the Managing Director and Global Head of ETF Research and Implementation Strategy at BlackRock, responsible for advising clients on the implementation of asset allocation strategies using ETFs, producing analysis and guidebooks on the global ETF industry. Prior to joining BlackRock in September 2008, Ms Fuhr was a Managing Director and head of the Investment Strategies Group at Morgan Stanley based in London, advising institutional investors globally and wrote on the implementation and strategy on the use of Delta products - including Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) on equity.
In the Exchange Traded Fund Research global survey conducted by ExchangeTradedFunds.com over the past 3 years, Deborah won the award for the Greatest Overall Contribution to the development of the Global ETF industry. In 2007, 2008 and 2009, Ms Fuhr was named as one of the Top 100 women in Finance, a distinguished list of the most influential women in European Finance, by Financial News.
David Mann
Director, iShares Captial Markets, Asia Pacific
Prior to joining iShares, David worked at LaBranche Structured Products for six years, first as a floor trader and eventually managing both the domestic and international ETF portfolios for the firm in a proprietary market making capacity. David helped set up and manage the firm’s Hong Kong office, LaBranche Structured Products Hong Kong Ltd., where he was responsible for running a proprietary book for Asia listed ETFs and supporting the international book out of the US.
Rajeev Baddepudi
Senior Research Analyst, Lipper
Rajeev Baddepudi has over 5 years' experience in investment management research within both the traditional and alternative fund spaces. He joined Thomson Reuters in February 2009 as Senior Fund Research Analyst for the ASEAN region at their Lipper division. His responsibilities include expanding the breadth and depth of Lipper's research output for the region, and representing Lipper in interactions with fund houses, investment management associations, the media and regulatory/governmental bodies in the region. He also plays an ambassadorial role in the dissemination of Lipper methodologies and fund classifications. He holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore, and prior to joining Lipper, he served as the Senior Analyst at an alternative investment research house.
