    New ! iOCBC Mobile Trading is now supporting iPhone and iPad. You can download iOCBC TradeMobile via Apple’s App Store.

3: Do I need to subscribe to a particular mobile handset service provider so that I can access iOCBC Mobile Trading?
 

No. The iOCBC Mobile Trading is available to all 3 local telecommunication service providers. As long as you have subscribed to GPRS service from any of these mobile handset service providers (i.e., M1, Singtel Starhub), you will be able to access our service provided that the phone is model is supported for iOCBC Mobile Trading  portal.

7: Why I am unable to access to the iOCBC Mobile Trading Platform?
   For added security, the mobile trading system incorporates the latest technology and security features, such as end-to-end encryption for login and transaction.

 

Due to incompatible browser and security setting, we regret to inform you that the mobile trading platform does not support the following phone models and some other phone models which are not listed here:

 

Dopod / HTC / O2 / iMode platform / Samsung Z370 / DH900 / E730 / Nokia 6680 / Sony Ericsson W960i

8: I am using iMode phone previously. Why I am unable to login to the new mobile trading platform now?
   Due to technical incompatibility issues, mobile trading platform does not support the iMode phone. Please use other alternative phone models to trade with us.

    Before you purchase a new mobile phone, kindly check with the sales personnel at the telco shop and ensure that you are able to log in to the new mobile trading platform at: https://www1.iocbc.com/mobile/index.html

 Settings & Download Instructions - Answers
1: How do I download the Mobile Trading login application?
    Kindly access to https://www1.iocbc.com/mobile/index.html to download the Mobile Midlet and save it in your “Applications” folder on your mobile phone.

Next click on the download link according to your mobile phone model.

If your mobile phone model is not stated on the download page, kindly select the next closest mobile model. (Example: If you are using Nokia N73, you may select the download link for N91)

If your phone model is not indicated, kindly select the download for ‘Other Phones’ and click on ‘JAR’ or ‘JAD’.

 

Note : For iPhone and iPad user, you are require to download iOCBC TradeMobile from App Store.

2: How to set up GPRS on my mobile phone?
 

(a) For Singtel customers

You can activate GPRS or 3G on your mobile handset by following the simple steps below :

 

(i)                   Key * follow by 43327

(ii)                 Press A to call or dial

(iii)                Follow the instructions in the SMS message you receive from your mobile phone service provider

 

 

(b) For M1 customers

 

(i)                   Send WAP <Phone Model> as an SMS message to ‘109’

(ii)                 Follow the instructions in the SMS message you receive from your mobile phone service provider

 

 

(c) For Starhub customers

 

(iii)                Send S <Phone Model> as an SMS message to ‘2000’

(iv)                Follow the instructions in the SMS message you receive from your mobile phone service provider

 

Once GPRS is activated, please set GPRS settings as follows:

3: Where do I download the Java midlet for iOCBC Mobile trading?
    Once GPRS is enabled, you can enter the URL on your browser : www1.iocbc.com/mobile/index.html .  Next, select the mobile phone model to download the Java midlet.

 

Alternatively, you can visit the iOCBC mobile trading portal via your mobile handset service provider portal (i.e. M1 : Miworld, Singtel : IDEAS, StarHub : Gee! ).

 

Note : For iPhone and iPad user, you are require to download iOCBC TradeMobile from App Store.

4: I have downloaded the Java midlet. How do I access iOCBC Mobile trading?
  

The location of the downloaded application varies according to the type of phone model you are using. It is located at either ‘Applications’ or ‘Games’ folder on your mobile phone.

 

Select the iOCBC logo to launch the login page. Next, enter your iOCBC User ID and password.

5: My phone is in the list of supported phones, but why can't I download the login application? The error message is “Applet is not initialized or may not be supported.”
 

1) Please check if your handset is in our compatible list

2) Please check if your GPRS settings are correct

3) Please check if your phone has downloaded the Java midlet from iOCBC.

 

Do not access the login page in the homepage through your browser. Launch the login page through the iOCBC Java midlet downloaded in your ‘Application’ or ‘Games’ folder.

    You will need to go to your “Applications” folder and launch the iOCBC Mobile Trading Platform at: https://www1.iocbc.com/mobile/index.html

 

For iPhone and iPad user, you are require to launch iOCBC TradeMobile application from your iPhone / iPad Home menu.

4: Can I use the iOCBC Mobile Trading portal when I am overseas?
 

It depends on whether your service provider has any GPRS agreement with the overseas partner. Please check with your respective service providers (i.e. : M1, Starhub, Singtel)
