1: What is the recommended system configuration?
 

To ensure optimal performance of the trading platform, your computer should have the following minimum configuration:


Hardware:

• 1.5 GHz P4 Intel (or equivalent) processor

• 1GB of RAM

• 100MB of available hard-disk space

• 1,024x768 monitor resolution with 16-bit video card

 

Software:

• Microsoft Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista or Windows 7

 

Others:

• Broadband internet connection (384Kbps or greater recommended)
=> Actual bandwidth requirement depends of various factors such as number of currency panels open and volatility of market.

• Administrator privilege to install software. After installation, the Windows user must be at least a standard (or power) user.

2: How do I install the iOCBCfx trading platform?
  The iOCBCfx trading platform is an application that requires installation on your computer.

3: What actions should I take if my system does not respond after a market order is placed?
 

For market order, you should receive a confirmation of your order after execution. In a normal situation, a confirmation should be received after about 5 seconds. If a confirmation is not received within 45 seconds, you should check the status of the order. Please contact our dealing desk for further assistance.

5: Can I access the iOCBCfx trading platform when I travel abroad?
 

You may do so if the iOCBCfx trading platform is installed on your laptop and you intend to use it abroad. Please remember to bring along your 2FA token.

 

For broadband internet connection, please check with the local Internet Service Provider of the country you are in.

 

Please note that, to safeguard your trading account, you should not install the iOCBCfx trading platform on public or internet café computers for trading.
